“Northwest Airport Inn is an Extended Stay hotel that now offers Hi-speed Wi-Fi and computers with Fax/Printer/Scanner/Copiers in the lobby. Entry to both the hotel and guest rooms is with a secure, coded key card. The one-bedroom suites feature a full kitchen with a four-burner gas stove, full size refrigerator, microwave, sink and lots of cabinet space, a table and four chairs, and some have ceiling fans. The Living room is furnished with a couch, one or two chairs, two end tables each with a lamp, color tv with DirecTv , and a desk and chair. There is a large closet with a safe next to the bathroom. The bedroom is a completely separate room with large closet, color television, Queen or King bed, dresser, two nightstands and lamps, plus telephone. All utilities are included except outgoing phone calls which are 25 cents. Restaurants within walking distance include Steak ‘n Shake across the street, White Castle next door, and the most excellent Sunrise Restaurant next to White Castle. There is also a Dominos Pizza and a Chinese restaurant behind the hotel. Two grocery stores, Schnucks and Shop ‘n Save are located nearby, as is Wal-Mart. Lambert Saint Louis International Airport is a 10 minute drive or ten minute local bus ride. The #49 Lindbergh going North stops in front of the hotel. We have lived here for over two years and find no reason to move because the cost of living here is equal to a regular apartment, if not cheaper.”
